Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell, a member of the ’90s girl group Brownstone, died this past Saturday, Feb. 28, her brother Brandon Maxwell confirmed via Twitter. She was 46.
The exact cause of her death remains unknown, but Brandon provided some insight on her tragic and sudden passing. “R.I.P my beautiful sister Charmayne ‘Maxee’ Maxwell,” he tweeted. “I can’t even believe I’m typing this right now.”

Donnie Smith Death – Family and friends are now remembering a father of three who passed away about two weeks after being badly assaulted outside of a shop in South Columbus. The incident occurred outside of the grocery. Donnie Smith, who was 53 years old and the father of three children, passed away on Monday as a result of an assault that took place on December 6 in front of a Kroger Supermarket located at The Great Southern Shopping Center on South High Avenue.
